I guess since they profiled the Conficker worm on 60 Minutes people have really gotten worried about it. There was a lot of speculation that on April Fool's Day the worm would activate and cause havoc on the internet. That of course didn't happen. If you are worried about the Conficker worm or think you might be infected check some of the links below:

ChaCha CEO Scott Jones Has an Awesome Computer & House
I was flipping through the channels the other day and noticed an episode of Cribs was on MTV. I also noticed that the person giving the tour of his amazing mansion was only a teenager. By the first commercial I realized I was watching an episode of Teen Cribs but I did some digging to figure out just who this kid's dad was.
Turns out the kids' dad is GraceNote founder and current CEO & Founder of ChaCha, Scott Jones. I figured the guy had to be somehow involved in tech since his house was complete with retinal scanners, remote control toilets & an 8 screen computer.
Here's a picture of his computer setup:
3.4 GHz P4 CPU, 2 GB RAM, 8x Dell 19 in. monitors, Colorgraphic Xentera GT display with ATI, Schwinn 205p recumb bike, Ergotron frame
You can view the episode of Cribs below:

CO2 Saver, Reduce Emissions from Your Computer

April 22nd was the 1st birthday of the CO2 Saver application released by Snap.com.
"Exactly a year ago, for Earth Day 2007, we released a lightweight application called CO2 Saver that allows PC users to quickly and easily start saving electricity when away from their computers.
CO2 Saver resides on the desktop and immediately adjusts user’s Windows Power Management settings to reduce their computer’s energy use when idle, saving energy and decreasing the demand on their power utility. CO2 Saver is available as a free download from http://co2saver.org/
To date, over 600,000 lbs of emissions have been saved by all CO2 Saver users, and if you are still not one of them, now it is the time to download it, install and start saving energy."
