Al Davis Speaks to the Media Again...which is probably not the best idea

As I posted yesterday, the Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis fired Lane Kiffin as head coach.....but that's not all. Instead of just the normal few line press release, Al Davis decided he needed to take it a step further and go in depth about what caused Kiffin to be released. Davis continuously called Kiffin a "liar" and even read the 1st page of a letter he gave to Kiffin last week.

Lane Kiffin Fired.....Al Davis Still Owner

The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that Lane Kiffin was fired as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders today. Owner Al Davis let Kiffin know of the termination via a phone call. While the Raiders have been pretty bad the last few years, you can't blame it all on Kiffin. I actually think the Raiders have lots of talent and lots of potential and they could easily make some significant strides this year. Those strides will most likely come to a screeching halt but why would Al Davis care? Ohh wait he's the owner.....but he's CRAZY, so that explains it.
