Make Way for the new BlackBerry Bold
Will this new BlackBerry Bold compete directly with the iPhone?
Not according to RIM who are sticking to what they are best at. Targeting the smartphone folk is where they've been successful, and it's where they plan on staying. The iPhone, as far as they are concerned, can carry on smiling. The business folk, they believe will be flocking to this new device which although features the same screen resolution as the iPhone, appears sharper due to its smaller size.
That said, I'm excited to try this new smartphone as I am a huge QWERTY fan myself. Hello business world, we have a new tool to play with.

The Battle of the Sexes: Social Networking
30 million social networkers were surveyed by a company called Rapleaf that churned some interesting results. The focus of the study was how many "friends" a social networker had, and segmenting age as well as sex groups out of the group polled. "Within this group, women averaged 62 friends while men averaged 57 friends." That said, reasonings for this have been postulated at classifying the female users as more "nurturing" in regards to social network relationship building. On the other end of the spectrum, the male users were thought to focus on " acquiring relationships from a transactional point of view" when looking at social network relationships.
Although it's tough to attribute the real rationale behind these findings, it is rather interesting!
