New Zealand All Blacks Performing the Haka

I think this is probably one of the coolest pre-game ritual in sports. Check out the New Zealand All Black's Rugby team performing the Haka which is traditional of the Maori people, the native people of New Zealand.

One of the most well known hakas the All Blacks perform is Ka Mate. Here are the words:

Ka mate, ka mate
Ka ora' Ka ora'
Ka mate, ka mate
Ka ora Ka ora "
Tēnei te tangata pūhuruhuru
Nāna i tiki mai whakawhiti te rā
Upane... Upane
Upane Kaupane"
Whiti te rā,!
He!

'I die, I die,
'I live, 'I live,
'I die, 'I die
'I live, 'I live,
This is the hairy man
...Who caused the sun to shine again for me
Up the ladder, Up the ladder
Up to the top
The sun shines!

Flight of the Conchords Season 2 Premiere

The Season 2 premier of Flight of the Conchords showed up online a month early.

The long-awaited second season of the show, which revolves around the offbeat comedic brilliance of New Zealand meta-pop nerds Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, premieres Wednesday on Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's online comedy clearinghouse Funny or Die.

Described by Wired magazine as "like a Kiwi version of Tenacious D," the show follows the oddball musical duo as they slog through lame gigs, lamer day jobs and ludicrous band meetings.

The half-hour Season 2 opener kicks off with one of those comic meetings of the minds, in which Bret and Jemaine dump clueless manager Murray (played by Rhys Darby).

In classic Conchords form, the management meltdown leads to a musical number that kicks off the long-awaited second season's story arc. [Wired]
